Can I book a first clean without obligation to continue?

Indeed, an initial cleaning session is arranged to offer you a chance to experience our reliable and affordable service. The standard hourly rate will apply. It is important to note that a regular domestic clean differs from a one-off clean; they have different pricing structures and set different expectations for the scope of the cleaning.

Do I need to book a minimum number of hours per visit?

We require a minimum commitment of two hours per visit for both domestic and commercial cleaning services.

Are products and cloths included?

Cinders Cleaners offers both options to our clients, accommodating individual preferences. Please make sure to specify your preference when booking, or it will default to the option where clients provide the products.

​

Cinders Cleaners will supply all necessary products, ensuring they are perfectly suited to deliver the best results in your home. We will also remove any dirty cloths, allowing you to relax and enjoy your clean space.

Alternatively, we can utilize the products you have at home and suggest any additional items that may be beneficial for achieving optimal cleanliness. Below is a list of recommended products for you to provide if you choose to supply your own:

- Anti-bacterial Spray
- Anti-bacterial Wipes
- Limescale Spray
- Bathroom Spray
- Polish
- Glass Cleaner Spray
- Kitchen Spray with grease removal elements
- Fiber Cloths, Sponges, Scouring Pads, Kitchen Roll & Bin Bags

For convenience, please place these items in a basket or bucket.

Should the cleaner identify a specific product that could enhance the cleaning of your home, they will discuss this with you directly after the initial cleaning session.

 

Do you provide equipment

We advise utilizing the homeowner's vacuum and steamer to prevent the spread of allergens. While we can provide a vacuum and mop, it is necessary to inform the area manager beforehand since not all cleaners have them available.

Do I have to sign a contract?

We have a basic agreement that outlines the terms of your service and clarifies expectations for all parties

What happens if I need to cancel a clean?
We kindly request a 72-hour advance notice for any cancellations, allowing us to arrange an alternative client for the cleaner during your scheduled appointment time. Cancellations made after this period will incur a 50% charge, which will be compensated to the cleaner for lost earnings. However, if the cancellation is made before the 72-hour window, there will be no charge.

 

Can I pause the service if I go on holiday?

Yes, you can.  Please send an email to your area manager with 2-4 weeks notice.

 

What is the notice period if I want stop the service?

We request a notice period of 2-4 weeks. 

We do not bind people with contracts.

Our philosophy is simple: if we're good, people will choose to stay; if we're not delivering a quality service, then there's no reason for you to continue paying.

What are the benefits of using Cinders Cleaners
as opposed to hiring the cleaner directly?

Ultimately, peace of mind is assured. Cinders Cleaners thoroughly vets its cleaners, which includes, but is not limited to, the following: Photo ID, proof of address, and verified references. For the protection of all parties involved, Cinders Cleaners carries Public Liability and Employers Liability Insurance. Exceptional customer service is guaranteed, ensuring your satisfaction with every aspect of the Cinders Service.

Can I refer my cleaner to friends and family?

Certainly, we appreciate referrals, but kindly direct them to Cinders rather than to the cleaner directly. If the referral doesn't come through us, the cleaner won't be insured for any work done directly, which is a situation we wish to avoid for both parties.

How do I pay Cinders Cleaners

Payment is processed by invoice after the cleaning service is completed. Ensuring client satisfaction is essential, therefore we charge following each cleaning session to uphold our high standards.

Do I have to be at home when my Cinders Cleaner attends?

We offer a service tailored to your preferences, with provisions that allow for attendance whether you're at home or out.

Does Cinders have insurance?
Yes, both the cleaner and your home are insured for the duration of the booking with us. For any additional services, please verify with the Area Manager that they are included in the insurance coverage before starting.

If I ever have any concerns or worries, who do I contact?

Depending on your comfort level with the cleaner, you can choose to address the issue directly or, alternatively, contact your Area Manager who will be glad to assist and address any concerns.
